International Women's Day is an international day celebrated on 8 March every year and defined by the United Nations. It is devoted to the development of political and social awareness of women on the basis of human rights, and the celebration of their economic, political and social achievements. Within the scope of 08 March International Women's Day, which we celebrate with different events every year in our country, as Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Nursing, a webinar was organized on the subject of "Migration and Women" in order to draw attention to the health of immigrant women and contribute to the solution proposals.

Due to its geographical and strategic location, our country has hosted millions of immigrants throughout history, including mass asylum movements. The phenomenon of migration greatly affects women's health. In addition, the current COVID 19 pandemic continues to threaten the health of all humanity. Immigrant women, who are a vulnerable group, are at greater risk for COVID 19. The United Nations Population Fund states that the health status of refugee women is worse than other women. Reproductive health risks are at the top of the health problems of migrant women.
