October 10 has been accepted as "World Mental Health Day" by the World Mental Health Federation since 1992. "World Mental Health Day" is celebrated in various countries, as well as in our country, to raise awareness about "mental health" in society. The theme for 2022 has been determined as "Let's Make Mental Health and Spiritual Well-Being a Global Priority". Global problems such as pandemics, war and migration in recent years have affected the well-being and mental health of the society. In this sense, awareness of social events that have a negative impact on mental health and psychological strengthening and improvements through evidence-based scientific methods have become even more important. Within the scope of these improvements; Coordination should be ensured as individuals, communities and institutions, the value and commitment to mental health should be deepened in cooperation, and this value should be transferred to all stakeholders in all sectors. On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, attention is drawn to this issue in society and to the awareness of the power of each of us as individuals in this regard. First of all, individuals should spend time on activities that can support their psychological well-being, such as getting to know themselves, strengthening social relationships, acquiring hobbies and doing sports.
