Our university, Selçuk University and KTO Karatay University organized the “1st National Konya Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Congress” in collaboration. The congress aimed to raise awareness in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation and to discuss innovations in this field.
The congress held at Selçuk University Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center was attended by; Our University Vice Rector Professor Doctor Hidayet Oğuz, Selçuk University Vice Rector Professor Doctor Ahmet Ak, KTO Karatay University Vice Rector Professor Doctor Mehmet Çelik, our University Nezahat Keleşoğlu Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Professor Doctor Mehmet Tuğrul Yılmaz, Selçuk University Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Professor Doctor Nur Feyzal Kesen, Selçuk University Faculty of Health Sciences Vice Dean Professor Doctor İsmail Özsoy, academicians and students.
Speaking at the opening program, Selçuk University Vice President Professor Ahmet Ak stated that the need for physiotherapy and rehabilitation has increased today and touched on the positive aspects of this field being in close contact with technology. Congress President and Selçuk University Health Sciences Faculty Vice Dean Professor İsmail Özsoy stated that the congress will strengthen professional solidarity as well as sharing information. The speakers were then presented with plaques of appreciation.
