The fact that Muslims have iftar together has an important place in the teachings of Islam. Every year, Muslims who fast during the month of Ramadan break their fast with the recitation of the evening call to prayer after being hungry and thirsty throughout the day. Iftar is a special time for the family and society to strengthen unity and solidarity. Family members, neighbors, and even strangers get together and break their fast at the same time. This provides an opportunity for Muslim communities to come together, share and help each other. Iftar tables are equipped with a variety of traditional dishes and become a ritual in which sharing, love and respect are emphasized. Breaking the fast together enables Muslim communities to come together to strengthen their spiritual bonds, deepen their social relationships, and encourage solidarity.
