Basic microsurgery training programs are carried out for surgical physicians who have completed their medical specialization training or are continuing their specialization training. Due to the necessity of specially equipped microsurgery laboratories to carry out these programs, there are very few microsurgery laboratories in our country and therefore a very limited number of microsurgery courses are organized. Our center, which tries to contribute at least partially to the solution of this problem, has a microsurgery laboratory with the necessary devices and equipment to train 5 trainees in each course. Thanks to the training programs held every two months within our center, nearly 60 trainees come from different regions of Turkey and the world to receive basic microsurgery training. In this context, the 29th Basic Microsurgery Training Program was organized within our center between 04 - 08 December 2023, and the certificates of the successful trainees were delivered with a ceremony.
