'Public Broadcasting Panel' was organized within the scope of the 3rd Publishing Summer School organized by the Social Innovation Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Konya Metropolitan Municipality and our University.

The moderator of the panel held at the Social Innovation Agency was our University Scientific Publications Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr.  Fatih Kaleci, General Director of Libraries and Publications of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Taner Beyoğlu and Vice President of the Turkish Historical Society Hüseyin Murat Yücel gave important information to the participants.

Noting that Turkey has made significant breakthroughs in the publishing sector as a result of various efforts, Beyoğlu said, “Turkish publishing has long been in the top 10 in terms of retail market size in the world. With the Project for Supporting the Expansion of Turkish Culture, Arts and Literature (TEDA), it was aimed to introduce the written language accumulation of Turkish to the world, and in this context, our ministry, which provides conditional financial support to publishing houses, aimed to realize the expansion of Turkish culture, art and literature on the spot through publishers. With the last board meeting we held, we have reached 4 thousand 122 titles. Turkish literature works can now be read in more than 60 languages and more than 90 countries.”
