On February 13, 2026, the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Nezahat Keleşoğlu Faculty of Health Sciences carried out a book donation event as part of its social responsibility initiatives. Led by Prof. Dr. Musa Acar and with the voluntary participation of department students, the activity resulted in the distribution of a total of 1000 gift books to primary school students. The event was planned to support children's reading habits, contribute to their educational processes, and strengthen their connection with books. The books were selected considering content suitable for different age groups and were prepared to support children's academic and personal development.

The activity was carried out as an initiative that strengthened university-community collaboration and reinforced students' sense of social responsibility. Department students contributed to society by demonstrating social sensitivity and volunteer-based participation alongside their professional development. This work is considered within the scope of institutional social contribution activities in terms of supporting access to education and increasing social awareness, and the goal is to continue similar social responsibility projects.
