Mustafa Güçyetmez gave a conference on “ECHR 13 Right to Effective Application”. He mentioned the following in the conference: In democratic countries, the European Convention on Human Rights was established to protect democracy and to guarantee minimum fundamental rights and freedoms. The European Court of Human Rights, which constitutes the most important part of the supervisory mechanism envisaged by the Convention, has been made more effective by undergoing various changes with the Additional Protocols since its establishment.
