A high tunnel greenhouse has been established at our faculty. Approximately 500 grapevine seedlings cultivated in 2025 by postdoctoral researcher Dr Yasin Gayretli are being used in research under TÜBİTAK and BAP projects in the high tunnel greenhouse conditions. In addition to grapevine seedlings, the high tunnel greenhouse, designed and constructed by Dr. Çetin Palta and Dr. Gayretli using their own resources, also houses landscape plants such as American ivy, honeysuckle, and roses. These plants have also been cultivated for planting in our faculty's landscape areas. Furthermore, the preliminary work for the BAP project led by Dr. Palta and the TÜBİTAK project on soil-less agriculture led by Dr. Gayretli has been completed in this greenhouse. It is planned to continue new projects focusing on environmentally friendly and current issues in this greenhouse in the upcoming growing season.
