Within the scope of Milling Machinery and Grain Technology courses, a technical trip was organized to Genç Değirmen and Taşkınlar Flour Factory, one of the leading companies in the sector in our region and city, for the students of the Flour and Bakery Products Technology Program of the Food Processing Department of our school. One of our department instructors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lokman GEMİ and Lecturer. During the technical trip accompanied by Asst. Öznur EYMİR, our students had the opportunity to see the production of milling machines on site, as well as to see the function of each machine and equipment produced in the flour production process in a practical way. We would like to express our gratitude to the entire Genç Değirmen family, especially Mechanical Engineer Ali SARI, who conveyed his professional knowledge and experience to our students during the technical trip and pleased our students with their hospitality, Haki TAŞKIN, the owner of Taşkınlar Flour Factory, Ahmet ÇELİK, the production supervisor and our esteemed student, and Mahmut ÇELİK, one of the doyens and pioneers of the sector.
