Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Law hosted an online talk titled "Addiction". In the talk, the definition, types, effects and treatment of addiction were discussed.
The speakers emphasized that addiction is not limited to substance use, but can be seen in many areas such as gambling, internet, shopping. They stated that addiction has negative effects on the individual and society and should be treated.
They also discussed the different methods used in addiction treatment and what can be done to prevent addiction. Participants expressed their views on the importance of raising awareness and preventive measures in the fight against addiction.
