Dr. Within the scope of the Cinema and Cinema Criticism II course given by Zühre Canay Güven in the Spring term of 2022, the Cinema Streams podcast was made with the participation of the students. In this podcast series, students discussed prominent trends in the history of cinema that they learned within the scope of the course. In this podcast series, while the currents in the history of cinema are discussed, both art and communication tool of cinema, which is a new form of expression that marked the 19th century, as well as the social and cultural changes in the background of the prominent movements of the period, were discussed by following a historical path. Among these important trends in the history of cinema, which are discussed with the active participation of students in this podcast series; French Avant-garde Cinema, Soviet Propaganda Cinema, British Documentary School, Italian Neorealism, French New Wave and Third Cinema.
