Animals have lived alongside humans throughout history. In this respect, animal rights have been of great importance throughout history. In this context, a semester-long program has been organized in the field of animal rights in order for the willing students of our faculty to learn this field. Within the scope of this program, Dr. Abdurrahim Altun, a research assistant of our faculty who has knowledge in the field of animal rights, makes a presentation. The topic of the second week is the examination of international conventions on animal rights and animal welfare. Within the scope of this program, it is aimed that law school students graduate as lawyers who know the current developments in the field of animal rights and are sufficiently knowledgeable in this field.
