Animals have lived alongside humans throughout history. In this respect, animal rights have been of great importance throughout history. In this context, a semester-long program has been organized in the field of animal rights in order for the students of our faculty to learn this field. Within the scope of this program, Dr. Abdurrahim Altun, a research assistant of our faculty, who has knowledge in the field of animal rights, makes a presentation. As the subject of the fifth week, the title of Protection of Animals within the Framework of the Turkish Penal Code continued to be covered. Within the scope of this program, it is aimed that law school students graduate as lawyers who know the current developments in the field of animal rights and are sufficiently knowledgeable in this field.
