The “Applied Basic Life Support Training” course was held by the Department of Surgical Nursing and was trained by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saide FAYDALI and Res. Asst. Mahsum KORKUTAN. In the 2-hour course, the importance and basic principles of basic life support were explained to the participants, and then the participants were provided with the opportunity to learn the steps of basic life support (A-B-C) by practicing them on a model. At the end of the course, the participants stated that they understood the vital importance of Basic Life Support and that seeing the steps practically on a model increased their skills and that the training should continue.
