April 1-7 is known as 'Cancer Week' every year. This week is very important to raise awareness in the fight against cancer and to emphasize the importance of prevention and early diagnosis. At the meeting held in the seminar hall, the students informed about the cancer and Meram Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Süleyman DOĞU stated that 'healthy lifestyle choices, regular check-ups and support services are important steps in the fight against cancer', Meram Vocational School Deputy Director Dr. Lecturer Member Turan AKDAĞ emphasized the importance of the week by saying 'together, we can wage a hopeful fight against cancer'. Posters were organized in our school to raise awareness about the week.
