April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, celebrated as a national holiday in our country and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, is known as the day when the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) and the establishment of the Republic of Turkey took place on April 23, 1920. Meram Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. stated that the principle of national sovereignty and children's rights are important. Dr. Süleyman DOĞU emphasized that it is a special day for children and that activities for the future are valuable. In memory of the day, events and posters were organized at Meram Vocational School.  Our students participated in various events and took part in these enthusiastic celebrations on this meaningful day.
