Algae, one of the most important living resources of the aquatic system, is used in food, agriculture, cosmetics, medicine, pharmacy and industry. Microalgae play an important environmental role by absorbing carbon dioxide and producing oxygen. This makes them a potential tool in the fight against climate change. Additionally, the use of microalgae in biofuel production can create a sustainable energy source that can replace fossil fuels. In this context, awareness training was given to students about the biotechnological uses and industrial added values of beneficial microorganisms called algae, which we frequently encounter in daily life.
