This month's guest of the Sahib Ata Conferences, organized in cooperation with our University's Seljuk Culture and Civilization Application and Research Center and Konya Foundations Regional Directorate, is Assoc. Dr. Zehra Odabaşı discussed the topic 'Sahib Ata's Foundations'.   The program held at the sahibi Ata Foundation Museum was attended by the Director of the Seljuk Culture and Civilization Application and Research Center of our University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çaycı, Konya Foundations Regional Deputy Director Hilal Aydemir, academicians, students and guests attended.   Selçuk University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. stated that Sahib Ata Fahrettin Ali protected the interests of the Turkmens and the Seljuk Dynasty politically and economically. Dr. Zehra Odabaşı said, “He is a statesman who paid the taxes of Anatolia from his own pocket at a time when the people were no longer in a position to pay taxes to the Mongols. He directed political events and tried to keep the Seljuk Civilization alive with the works of the foundation he established. Not only in Konya, but also in Afyon, Sivas, Kayseri; Many foundations build works such as zawiyas, madrasahs and caravanserais. Thus, it contributes to Anatolian Civilization in many different fields such as education, trade and mysticism. "This is one of the most important services that Sahib Ata Fahrettin Ali provided to our civilization," he said.   During the Seljuk period; Assoc. Prof. said that all the foundations needed by the society were established and financed by statesmen. Dr. Odabaşı noted that the state only controls these foundations.   Assoc. Dr. Zehra Odabaşı answered the questions of the participants after her speech.   At the end of the program, Konya Foundations Regional Deputy Director Hilal Aydemir, Assoc.
