Our Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatma Kunt participated in the “Climate Change and the Future of Cities” workshop, which addressed urbanism and environmental sustainability. In the workshop, issues such as the effects of climate change on urban life, sustainable urban planning and reducing environmental risks were discussed; academics, experts and local administrators from different disciplines shared their knowledge and experiences. Our Vice Dean also had the opportunity to convey the contributions of our university in this field and its vision for the future. Such events both strengthen academic collaborations and contribute to increasing social awareness.
