Atabey Youth in the Footsteps of the Ancestors Istanbul Trip

The students of our school " Department of Food Processing " and "Department of Plant and Animal Production" participated in the " Atabey Youth in the Footsteps of the Ancestors" Istanbul Trip program within the scope of "Volunteering Studies" and "Ecotourism" courses carried out in the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. The program was carried out under the leadership of Lecturer Dr Hakan VATANSEV, Lecturer Zekeriya BİLİCİ and Lecturer Aliye AYAN. Accompanied by a local guide, our students visited Eyüp Sultan Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque and Sultan Ahmet Mosque and received detailed information about these holy shrines of our ancestors. Later in the program, our students witnessed the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the founding of our Republic. Our students who participated in the program expressed their thanks to Konya Metropolitan Municipality, University Rectorate and our School Director for supporting the program.
