The preparation and publication of the February issue of the Atasagun Student Community has yielded significant academic, social, and cultural gains for the participating students. Firstly, students actively participated in research, information gathering, and source analysis, and then wrote down the information they obtained, all based on the designated themes. This process contributed to the development of their academic writing skills, increased research competencies, and strengthened their critical thinking abilities. Studies on themes such as "The February 6, 2023 Earthquakes" and "The Adoption of the Turkish Civil Code" allowed students to develop sensitivity to social events and to evaluate historical processes more consciously. Thus, students not only produced academic knowledge but also gained a sense of social responsibility and contributed to the preservation of collective memory. Furthermore, the journal preparation process encouraged teamwork; it supported the development of task sharing, time management, and communication skills. Solidarity within the community was strengthened, and students experienced the responsibility and motivation of creating a collaborative product. In conclusion, this activity has both enabled students to actively participate in academic production processes and made significant and lasting contributions to university life.
