On the occasion of December 3rd, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Dr. Hasan Ali Erdoğan, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, participated in the event titled "Hand in Hand for an Inclusive World." The event aimed to raise awareness about the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in social life and to emphasize the importance of creating an inclusive society. Held at the Erol Güngör Conference Hall of the Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education, the event was enriched with various speeches, panels, and activities. Participants increased their awareness about disability issues and were encouraged to consider ways to support the active participation of individuals with disabilities in social life. The event highlighted the significance of social equality and inclusivity, stressing that everyone must fulfill their responsibilities in building a society where all individuals have equal rights. The event created a strong sense of awareness among participants and conveyed the message that collective effort is needed for an inclusive world. At the end of the event, the management of the Faculty of Tourism convened under the leadership of Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet Demirel to discuss potential actions that could be taken for students with disabilities within the faculty. It was decided that a meeting would be held to allow the students to rest, and to gather their requests and feedback.
