Award for Management Information Systems Students at AGROTECH2025 Smart Agriculture Technologies Hackathon

The AGROTECH2025 Smart Agriculture Technologies Hackathon, organized in collaboration with the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Mevlana Development Agency, was held on April 11–12, 2025, at the Kapsül Technology Platform. During this intense 36-hour marathon, teams competed fiercely to develop innovative solutions for agricultural technologies.

Alper Karaca and Sümeyra Aydemir, senior students from the Department of Management Information Systems at our Faculty, were honored with an Honorable Mention Award for their project. Their proposed solution in the field of smart agriculture earned the appreciation of both the jury and the participants.
