In the seminar titled “Being a Psychological Counselor in Village Schools” organized by the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling in our faculty, Zafer Akyüz, School Psychological Counselor of Belkaya Secondary School affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, shared his experiences in village schools with the participants. In 2013, Zafer Akyüz, who started his duty in 2013 and has been working in village schools at different levels until today, shared with the students what kind of experiences he had during these years, what issues they should pay attention to if they are going to be a Psychological Counselor in a village school, what they may encounter, and answered the questions of the Psychological Counselor candidates on this subject, and we would like to thank Zafer Akyüz for his valuable sharing.
