As part of the Community Service Practices course, our first-year students and the “Hand in Hand for Health” student club carried out a meaningful social responsibility project. Under the guidance of Dr. Aliye ÇAYIR, Head of the Department of Nursing Education, a book donation campaign was organized, and the collected books were delivered to the library of İnlice Primary and Secondary School, providing students with a richer learning environment. As part of the event, the donated books were placed on the shelves together with the students, and a reading activity was held.

The İnliceliler Association, which supported the event, demonstrated a powerful example of the spirit of volunteering by distributing the gifts they brought for the school’s students and teachers together with our own students. In this way, the importance of cooperation with associations in volunteer work was highlighted, while also giving the children an unforgettable day.

This meaningful collaboration once again revealed the value of solidarity, sharing, and contributing to society, creating an important experience for our students.

We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the book donation event carried out within the scope of the Community Service Practices course. We are deeply grateful to our university students, faculty members/staff, and the “Hand in Hand for Health” student club for enriching the library of İnlice Primary and Secondary School with their book donations.

We would also like to extend our thanks to the President and Vice President of the İnliceliler Association for the gifts they brought for the students and teachers, as well as for their active participation in the volunteering process, which added further meaning to our event.

Finally, we thank the administrators, teachers, and students of İnlice Primary and Secondary School for hosting us.
