A seminar titled "Border Sociology-2: Border Discourses and Forms of Nationalization" was held as part of the Border Studies Training Program organized by the Migration Research Foundation. The seminar focused on how and in what form the discourses and symbols about borders nationalize societies. In this context, examples from various border policies and discourses were given from the EU as well as the USA and Turkey. In relation to this, how the border establishes the "us" and the "other" and how the nationalist border approach affects the view of immigrants, especially considering the increasing number of immigrants today, was discussed in the context of border and border discourses.
