"Breath for the Future, Breath for the World" Event Organised at NEU

Necmettin Erbakan University hosted a meaningful event within the scope of 11 November 2024 National Afforestation Day. The sapling planting event, organised with the slogan "Breath for the Future, Breath for the World", was held in front of the Library in Köyceğiz Campus of the university.

In the event, which started at 10.00, university students, academics and staff came together and planted saplings to contribute to nature. The event, which aims to raise awareness of nature conservation and to leave a greener world to future generations, was held with intense participation.

In order for the participants to reach the event area easily, shuttle service was provided from the Health Campus and Ahmet Keleşoğlu Campus Aşkan Gate at 09.30.

This meaningful event, organised by NEU, both increased the awareness of responsibility towards nature and offered participants an experience that reinforced environmental awareness. The event, which was shared on social media with the hashtag #NEUdeBirFidan, was highly appreciated by environmentally conscious individuals.

Necmettin Erbakan University stated that it will continue such activities for a sustainable environment and expects the support of the whole society for a green future.
