Cervical cancer education aims to increase women's awareness of this disease and emphasize the importance of early diagnosis. Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that develops in the cervix and is often associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. Women over the age of 40 were given training on this subject in family health centers. In the training, the protective effect of the HPV vaccine, the importance of regular screening tests (Pap smear and HPV test) and the increased chance of treatment with early diagnosis were explained. Additionally, by providing information about risk factors, symptoms and treatment options, women are helped to develop healthy lifestyle habits and not to neglect their regular check-ups. In this context, continuing in cooperation with institutions affiliated with the district health directorate makes the institutions stronger.
