The importance of vaccinating babies is critical to protect them against serious and contagious diseases during this period when their immune systems are still developing. Vaccines introduce weakened or inactivated disease agents into babies' bodies, allowing the immune system to develop a defense mechanism against these agents. Diseases such as measles, mumps, whooping cough and polio can be largely prevented thanks to vaccines. In addition, vaccines contribute to social immunity by protecting not only the baby but also individuals in the community who are not vaccinated or whose immunity is weak. Therefore, adhering to regular vaccination schedules is vital for the healthy growth and development of babies. In this context, mothers who had babies were given training on the subject at the family health center. In this context, continuing in cooperation with institutions affiliated with the district health directorate makes the institutions stronger.
