The activity of making compost from environmental wastes within the scope of World Environment Day is a very meaningful and educational activity. Composting is the process of naturally decomposing organic wastes and turning them into fertilizer. This activity provides students with a practical experience in recycling and sustainability, while also helping them understand the natural cycle. It also contributes to encouraging environmental awareness and environmentally friendly practices. In this context, the activity of making compost from environmental wastes was carried out in order to raise awareness by the Department of Plant and Animal Production, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Program faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Süleyman DOĞU and Asst. Prof. Dr Turan AKDAĞ.
