On 20/12/2013, a presentation was given at the Copyright Academy, organised by the Social Innovation Agency, entitled " Copyright Law General Principles". In the context of this presentation, copyright is defined as follows: Copyright is a kind of right. A right is an interest protected by law. In this sense, a right can be established on a tangible asset as well as on intangible assets. For example, while the property right on a house is established on tangible assets, copyright is established on intangible assets. Copyright is an absolute right established on the products created by the intellectual labor of a person. After this definition, what should be considered about copyright and how this right should be protected are discussed.
