Within the scope of the activity, our department faculty member and chair, Prof. Dr. Ahmet ÇAYCI, shed light on the beliefs concerning cosmology and planets during the Anatolian Seljuk period. He showcased examples of depictions of planets and zodiac signs in Anatolian Seljuk architecture and art, discussing the influence of cosmology on art during that era.
