Our faculty's Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Seçim met with Afyonkarahisar İscehisar Atatürk Primary School students and chatted in the "our cuisine and nutrition culture" talk organized within the scope of TÜBİTAK science talks. The talk, which aimed to provide important information to young people about nutrition culture, discussed culinary culture and nutrition habits from the past to the present with the scientific perspective it added to gastronomy. By talking about our local products and our foods, which are our cultural heritage, and our nutrition culture, the importance of nutrition and the importance of our foods in protecting our personal health were emphasized.
