Culinary Students Showcased Their Skills During Domestic Goods Week

Necmettin Erbakan University Meram Vocational School Hotel Restaurant and Catering Services Department Cookery Program students drew attention with the products they prepared with local ingredients under the leadership of Lecturer Cemil USLU during the Domestic Goods Week celebrated between 12-18 December.

The purpose of the Domestic Goods Week is to consciously increase domestic consumption and protect the country's wealth. In this context, culinary students prepared dishes, desserts, salads and drinks from various regions of Turkish cuisine, emphasizing the importance of using domestic goods and making delicious presentations. 
Among the dishes prepared by the students were Seferihisar Dessert, Akçaabat Meatballs, Muğla Ring, Tas Kebab and Aydınücveri. These delicious products created by the efforts of the students were highly appreciated by both academics and other students. While celebrating the Domestic Goods Week, the students of the Culinary Program also demonstrated the richness and diversity of Turkish cuisine.
