The "Culture and Tourism Society", most of whose members are students of the Department of Tourism Guidance, organized a technical trip to the Cappadocia Region. The trip was attended by some professors of the Faculty of Tourism and community members. Community Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Dinç stated that "The aim of this technical trip is to provide field experience to our students, who will be tourist guides in the future, and to convey the intricacies of the guiding profession." Within the scope of the day trip, it was reported that areas with geographical and historical beauties such as Aksaray Sultanhanı, Ihlara valley, Derinkuyu Underground City, Uçhisar, Ürgüp, Göreme, Paşabağları and Avanos were visited. With the trip, students were able to see and experience Göreme National Park, which is on the World Cultural Heritage List, closely.
