"Disaster and Fire Awareness Training" program was held in the conference hall of the Faculty of Applied Sciences on 12.12.2023 in cooperation with the Logistics Information Community of our university and AFAD Konya Provincial Directorate. Our community advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Oktay Dündar stated in the opening speech of the program that the importance of logistics is felt more in times of disaster. Within the scope of Disaster and Fire Awareness Training, Branch Manager Fethi Çoruk gave earthquake awareness and Mehmet Sinan Besler gave fire awareness trainings. In the program, students were given a practical fire extinguishing drill. At the end of the program, our community advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Oktay Dündar presented a plaque to AFAD Konya Provincial Directorate Training Team in memory of the day.
