Drip irrigation and its application methods refer to an irrigation method used to directly deliver water to plants to a certain area. Drip irrigation is an effective irrigation method that provides direct and controlled delivery of water to the root areas of plants. This method prevents waste of water, directly meets the moisture needs of the roots of plants and increases the water retention capacity of the soil. Different designs can be found among drip irrigation methods, and it is important that the system used is suitable for the plant type, soil type and irrigation requirements. In this context, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Program faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Süleyman DOĞU and Assist. Prof. Dr. Turan AKDAĞ carried out the 'drip irrigation and methods' activity theoretically and practically with the students.
