There are many types of disasters frequently experienced in our country. Earthquake, which is the most common disaster among these, causes serious loss of life and property. Earthquake drills conducted before the earthquake allows people to act calmly during the disaster. In this way, both individuals are prevented from harming themselves due to panic and survival rates increase. An earthquake drill was held with the students of the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program of our Vocational School. Lect. Assist. Azime Bozkurt directed the drill, the “Drop-Cover-Hold On” technique was applied, assuming that there was an earthquake shaking. The drill raised awareness among students about what to do during and after an earthquake.
