The conference titled "Earthquake from the Perspective of UMKE AFAD", organized jointly by the NEU Faculty of Nursing and NEU Faculty of Medicine Hospital quality unit was held on 08.03.2024. At the conference, the earthquake reality of our country, what AFAD's duties are, the speakers' experiences in the earthquake were explained, and the collapse-cover-hold movement that should be done in the event of an earthquake was practiced with all participants. The speakers were AFAD training branch manager Fethi ÇORUK, press public relations officer Mehmet Sinan BESLER, and hospital quality director UMKE volunteer Dr. Sinem BAĞCI ÇELİK's certificates of appreciation were presented by the dean of the faculty of nursing, Prof. Dr. Emel EGE, vice-dean, Prof. Dr. Kamile ALTINTUĞ and Prof. Dr. Filiz HİSAR.
