In the Radiation Oncology Unit, under the guidance of the instructor, our nursing student educated the patient, who had just started receiving chemotherapy, about the importance of vascular access in the use of chemotherapy drugs, the process of vascular damage, and the symptoms he would experience if the vascular access was removed, with the educational material he developed. In this way, it was aimed to minimize chemotherapy-related vascular damage. In addition, our student had experience by doing patient education. Finally, the aim is to reduce the damage to nature by producing educational materials from recycled materials.
