In the Oncology Training Unit, under the guidance of the training nurse and the instructor, our nursing student gave training to patients newly diagnosed with cancer about the spread of cancer cells, the progression process, and treatment methods in patients with cancer, with the educational material she developed. In this way, it was easier for our patient, who was afraid of the cancer process, to accept the process. In addition, our students had experience by doing patient education.
