In the dialysis unit, under the guidance of the instructor, our nursing student educated the patient receiving hemodialysis treatment with the educational material he developed about the importance of fluid restriction and how the lungs are affected by excess fluid. The patient was asked to inflate the balloon when there was no water in the bottle and then to inflate the balloon after filling the bottle with water. In this way, an attempt was made to explain the pressure of the excess fluid on the lungs. In addition, our students and patients experienced the subject by doing it. Finally, the aim is to reduce the damage to nature by producing educational materials from recycled materials.
