Organizing an environmental cleaning activity with primary school children is extremely valuable in terms of both increasing environmental awareness and providing children with a sense of social responsibility. Such activities help children understand nature better and also help them develop environmental awareness and sense of responsibility. In this context, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Süleyman DOĞU, a faculty member of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Program, organized this activity with primary school children on behalf of the ‘World Environment Day’.
