As Necmettin Erbakan University, Faculty of Social and Humanities, within the scope of the Volunteering Studies course, which was initiated for 3rd grade students this year, our volunteer students collected food and bread scraps, plastic bags and plastic cups in separate bags after the meal, and recycled plastics, and their meals were stray animals. They left it around the faculty. With this study, our students were encouraged to participate in recycling activities by increasing their environmental awareness. At the same time, the awareness of our students about the stray animals living around our faculty was developed and the food leftovers were transferred to the nutrition of stray animals. In addition, thanks to this work carried out by our students, the users of the cafeteria were also made aware of the need to separate and discard the end-of-meal residues.
