On 20.12.2024, at 10:00, “Exercise Training” was carried out with our 2nd year students under the supervision of Dr. Lecturer Aliye ÇAYIR and Res. Asst. Dr. Fatma YENER ÖZCAN for the nursing home guests at the “Private Merkezsev Nursing Home” affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey. The importance of exercise, benefits of exercise, effects of exercise on our body, types of exercises and application examples were discussed in the training, stretching exercises related to the subject, application examples with resistance bands, exercises done with weights, application of all types of exercises to the nursing home guests, boççi game and ney recital were performed. During the training process, our nursing students experienced training to develop their roles as educators by using training methods such as question-answer, demonstration, show-and-do, and drama.
