As Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, within the scope of the Volunteering Studies course initiated for the 3rd grade students in our faculty this year, a course was held by the Konya Governorship Provincial Directorate of Disaster and Emergency, in which the subjects of "Fire Response and Earthquake" were shown theoretically and practically. Our Faculty Prof. Dr. The lesson, which started with the definition of volunteering and the presentation of the AFAD Volunteering system by the officials of the Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate at the Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, continued with the theoretical information on what to do when faced with fire and earthquake disasters. After the theoretical training, after going to the open air and taking the necessary safety precautions, our students were given practical firefighting training by the experts.
