The Göktürk Team, established within the Faculty of Engineering and including our Management Information Systems Department students Ayşenur Yılmaz and Mustafa Albayrak, who are studying at our Faculty of Applied Sciences, won first place in the 9th Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) Competition held at METU under the sponsorship of Boeing. The 7 kg unmanned aerial vehicle designed by the team successfully completed its fully autonomous flight during the competition and demonstrated high performance with a maximum flight time of 30 minutes.

This significant achievement once again highlights our students' competence in technology and innovation, as well as the power of interdisciplinary work.
