Necmettin Erbakan University (NEU) Faculty of Engineering will host a panel titled "Food Safety and Legislation" on April 30, 2025. The panel will provide an in-depth discussion on the importance of food safety and legislation, the latest developments in the sector, and the practical implementation of regulations. The panel will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Selman TÜRKER, Head of the Department of Food Engineering at NEU. Prof. Dr. Türker will provide an overview of the key elements of food safety and legislation in his opening speech. The speakers include Ramazan SOBAYOĞLU, Food and Feed Branch Manager, who will discuss "Food Legislation", focusing on the legislative frameworks and practices in Turkey. Additionally, Fatih YILDIRIM, Food Control Laboratory Manager, will present on "The Role of Laboratories in Food Safety", explaining the critical role of laboratories in ensuring food safety. This panel offers a valuable opportunity for academicians, experts, and professionals in the food industry to gain insights into food safety and legislation. The event will take place in the NEU Faculty of Engineering Conference Hall from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
