'What I found in Mimar Sinan is the use of light. It passes this light through its own filter and makes the space accept the aesthetic it provides. Mimar Sinan is not an architect who builds a place with stones, but a man who gathers the world into himself. The light leaking from the windows he made does not only have an aesthetic meaning. It also adds the sublimity required by the atmosphere created by light to mosques. When I look at Sinan's buildings from the outside, I feel life in their stones. I combine it with birds and shadows falling from trees and take a picture of it. I kind of want to listen to the music of the wind leaking from the domes; Architecture is a symphony, I find it in Sinan…' (Ara Güler,2017)

It is aimed to look at these traces of life in Mimar Sinan's architecture from a point where the intellectual impressions of today's designers intersect. In the workshop “From Dream to Line with the Works of Mimar Sinan”; The aim is to imagine Sinan's dreams and works and to linearly convey the collective memory traces that emerge in this process. In the first stage, the contours of the selected Mimar Sinan works will be expressed with colors. While creating these contours, participants are asked to choose colors according to the traces of life they feel in that structure. At the same time, this imaginary and intellectual process will be progressed collectively and in layers. After the contour layers are created, the linear process will begin.
